Miramar, FL to Consider Ordinance Affecting Public Art Regulations

The Commission will Hold FIRST READING of Temp. Ord. #O1845 amending the Land Development Code of the City of Miramar, pursuant to Section 302 of the Land Development Code and Section 166.041(3)(C)(2), Florida Statutes, by amending Chapter 3, entitled “Processes,” to update Section 324, “Public Art,” to create a more inclusive framework for mural art, to provide for new and updated definitions, guidelines and requirements for mural art installations, making findings; providing for repeal; providing for severability; providing for correction of scrivener’s errors; providing for codification; and providing for an effective date.
