Miami, FL to Consider Ordinance Affecting Sound-Making Devices
The Commission will Consider An Ordinance by the Miami City Commission Amending
Chapter 36/section 36-4 of the Code of the City of Miami,
Florida, as Amended, Titled “noise/operation of Radios,
Phonographs, or Other Sound-making Devices; Bands,
Orchestras, and Musicians – Generally,” and Chapter
36/section 36-5 of the City Code, Titled “noise/same –
Hours of Operation of Jukeboxes, Radios, Etc.;
Exemption for Events on City-owned Property;
Relaxation," to Create a Pilot Program for the Nrd-1
Wynwood Bid Removing Decibel Readings for Noise
Violations and Creating Alternate Hours for
Restrictive Times and Alternate Distances for Sound;
Containing a Severability Clause; and Providing for an
Effective Date.

Each lobbyist, within 60 days after registering as a lobbyist, shall submit a certificate of completion of an ethics course provided by the Miami-Dade County Commission on Ethics & Public Trust or City of Miami.
